Anaheim isn't the right place to send a LhD, but we'll give you the Boston second and take a flyer on Alex Holtz.

Fun to see what that top-6 looks like with JG; however, I think he'll end up getting around $8M

Tampa Bay would probably give the Devils a 3rd for Bahl. Hawks probably consider that Holtz offer. The only thing that might hold them back is Holtz's skating. But I'd like to see what Holtz could do playing w/ Bedard. And Guentzel gets more than $6.5m per. More like $8m to $8.5m.

Holtz hasn't lived up to expectations, but I think he's worth taking a chance on if the price is only a 2nd round pick. The Hawks have 8 second round picks in the next 3 years, not to mention 5 first round picks. I think they can afford to take a chance on a young forward for a second round pick.

The skating isn’t the problem. It’s the decision making…primarily coughing up pucks in neutral zone.

The skills are all there…his head seems to go from ‘ho hum’ to ‘panic’ in an instant.
