Ullmark is good, but no team in the league is giving a top 10 pick for a 30 year old goalie, and beecher + mid picks isn't moving the needle at all

as you say yourself, Ullmark alone isn’t worth a top 10 pick. and Beecher and some 3rd don’t make up the difference, because this is a top 10 pick we’re talking about. if we trade Chychrun, Bruins would likely be able to get whatever the 1st from that deal is for Ullmark, since that one would be a better 1st than the Boston 1st. then just cut everything else out of the deal

Sens can get a top RD and a top F if they get a pick in the teens for Chychrun. I wouldn’t move anything .

Is Chychrun signing there? If not, an Ullmark for Chychrun base seems more realistic than a top 7 pick.

I’m curious if Ottawa can get a pick in the teens for Chychrun. As we saw with Hanifin, a lot depends on belief he will resign. If there is little feel there, you are seeing late first and late third for him with a prospect or the rental rate for any expiring contract. Same with Ullmark for Boston.

The only positive with the likely trade protection with Ullmark is it would force extension discussions which I assume you can’t do with Chychrun or he would have already signed
