Marner wouldn’t ever sign in Columbus and Johnny wouldn’t move to Toronto. Wants to be near family.

Niemela and a late 1st is a half decent starting point for Chychrun but adding the retention + a cap dump going to Ottawa is a massive no.

If the players involved didn't have NTC contracts, Columbus would make that trade in a second. Gaudreau since coming to Columbus 151games 126 points and a -57 and don't forget his 7 hits LOL. Leafs laugh at the trade straight up for Marner.
