  1. Poulin, Samuel [RFA Rights]
  2. Puustinen, Valtteri [RFA Rights]
  3. Rakell, Rickard
  4. 2025 4th round pick (PIT)
Additional Details:
SEA gets a middle six winger that fits their system better than PIT's right now. He is playing hurt (which he should sit but won't) so a long offseason to recover will be great. Francis also gets two young NHL players that would slot perfectly in their middle six, as he is good at finding talent needing a change / more playing time.
PIT
  1. Kartye, Tye
  2. Tanev, Brandon
Additional Details:
PIT brings back Tanev to make the money work plus bring back something the locker room lost when he was drafted to SEA.

I used to love Burky's game. But with his more recent lack of performance and that contract, I think SEA would have to pay us to take his contract.

Seattle ain't dumping 16.5 mil in cap that easily. Hawks decline.

Davidson can easily find something better to do with $5.5m for the next three seasons.

Puckpedia’s cap relief calculator estimates the cost of moving three seasons of a $5.5m cap hit at the 31st pick of the 1st round.

I personally would be willing to accept David Goyette and a future 3rd round pick if I was Chicago’s GM.

I doubt Rackell will be that easy to move w/ 4 years left on his deal. And unfortunately with his injury issues and diminished level of play, Burakovsky probably is a negative value player at the moment. Don't see Seattle making the Pens or Leafs deals. And Hawks definitely decline the Burakovsky trade.
