Maybe for Neighbours, but I think MTL keeps Guhle either way.

I think this is a fair trade, I just don't know if either side considers it. I personally like it though from the Habs needs perspective

How's about we just be patient and see what the draft brings before throwing out any top 25 prospects?

Because this is Capfriendly where hypotheticals are thrown out all the time…Habs have abundance of Def and Blues have lots of forwards so it makes sense. Get bonafide partner for Parayko here and future number 1 dman. Don’t want to trade Snugs but gotta give to get…

This came from another thread. Don’t see Blues trading Neighbours even if Guhle has more value as he is the epitome of what majority of Blues fans love in their players historically.

Or you can draft. No giving required.

i don't know why I've seen Guhle in so many mocks recently, he's the only young defenseman Montreal have that's already a top 4 defenseman. There's a world that none of our prospects develop as we hope they do and Guhle is our #1 guy, I wouldn't move him until we see what Hutson, Reinbacher, Mailloux, etc. are

so you further kick the can down the road and Parayko doesn't get a partner until he's like 34...

You do know there's a lot of distance between ship out a top 25 prospect and "kick the can down the road". It's not binary. And there's plenty of other ways to get Colt's partner before he's 34.

Yup - because all those ways have been so successful since Bouw went down with his heart issue 5 years ago…

Pretty sure there's many ideas we have not tried. Fast forward two years: Gosh, our D is great but we cannot score... why oh why did we trade Snuggerud?!?!

If they can’t score in 2 years with Thomas, Kyrou, Neighbours, Dvorsky, Bolduc, Buch or Buch’s cap replacement, Stenberg, Dean, Torpo, Pekarcik, Saad or Saad cap replacement, etc - there is something wrong.

I don’t want to trade Snuggerud but again - defense (who can also generate goals) is a bigger need.

How about we get rid of Kyrou instead.

Seems objectively fair, but I'm not sure it's the right move.
