but if he wants too much in his next contract, i could see us lose interest fast

They named TK assistant captain which would indicate Flyers interest of extension. There have been talking about ~8*9M extension which i guess is too much for Sabres. And as much I like Savoie, i don't know if that would be enough to acquire TK unless it's 100% sure Flyers can't re-sign him. But maybe some higher pick or Krebs instead of 3rd might do the cut.
