Pretty solid actually. You are still hoping for bounceback seasons from Thompson and cozens, plus hoping for a healthy season for Quinn, but there's a lot more balance here. Stephenson would be a good two way middle 6 center, and you've added a fair amount of physical play to go with it. If the scoring bounces back a bit without giving up too much on d, this could be a dangerous team.

My only concern here is whether the Sabres will have enough cap space to sign the plethora of RFAs the following season.

The Crouse deal would be very tough for Yotes to turn down..... I will say that.

Lot of Bridge Deals, JJ is the only one that has been consistent and Wahlberg and Ostlund should be ready by then.

Byram and UPL also need new deal by then. So I assume long term deal go to Byram and JJ. Bridge to Quinn and UPL is signing 3 or 5 yrs deal this summer.

Probably won't like this but I would only go 1 year with UPL and dump Clifton if I had to

If I'm the penguins I agree. I think Acciari is a decent player who had 0 help this year. But they need to make space on their roaster to start playing their younger guys as they keep running out of gas and need younger legs to pull more minutes. Bodies have to move to do that.

AZ trade is good value but AZ still passes - samuelsson cant stay healthy and crouse is defacto capt and leader of team - the first is nice but its no like AZ is needing draft capital at the expense of current core players

It's a risk, if he repeats this season, you are looking at 6+ figures. Now, you could have him 3x4m

Could be, but other than 3 months has he proven he deserves 4m. I expect Levi to take the Net at some point next year.
