I do believe DeBrincat only wanted to come to Detroit. Which pretty much screwed Ottawa because they probably could've gotten a bigger return elsewhere.

Read the room, one person has a crazy idea about something doesn't make it so.

It is mad even desperately hoping for something like this. I like Trouba and DeBrincat so I'm not knocking either player but this is just weird.

Haven't been a fan of debrincat this year but trading him for trouba isn't the move. I'd take trouba for copp and holl if they can make that work?

I have no problem with Detroit taking Trouba, this team desperately needs a guy who plays on the edge. No way in hell I’m selling on Debrincat though.
