Description

This is a simulated result of what trades/signings were made in our GHL GM League for a simulated off-season.

GM's were tasked with the job of getting their team ready for the season. They had to stay within the salary cap restrictions and must have a maximum of 6 players on the Taxi Squad for injury relief purposes.

Your job is to comment and evaluate how the GM managed their team.

Questions to answer:
1. What was the best move made by the GM?
2. What was the worst move made by the GM?
3. Did the GM improve the team or make them worse?

Simulated GM would win the GM of the decade award if he's able to get an unprotected OTT 2026 1st as well a 2025 2nd for Ferraro. Realistically it'd either be just the 2nd or a top-10 protected 1st. I do like the idea of 1 year deals in 2024 and shipping out Rutta.

Less than zero chance Rutta comes back to TB on that AAV. If TB thought he was worth close to that he'd already be wearing a bolt. They sure as hell aren't paying 2.75 for a guy who'd be a 7th defenseman
