If Knight is so good, why don't the Panthers play him. Can't see any team risking 4.5m in cap and first on him.

Many of these are bad for NJD...but thinking Knight is still worth a top 15 pick alone is just not smart. His contract is way too high for a guy who can't even play NHL games now? And putting up pretty basic numbers in the AHL to boot.
