Philly is not likely moving TK. If they were to even consider, it would be a package that includes either Savoie, Kulich, or Buffalo’s 2024 first.

I'd be concerned about the Sabres cap in 24/25. Konecky is a UFA, RFAs Byram, Levi, Johnson, Quinn, Pekera to be resigned. The only real expiring contract would be 3m Greenway.

I'm a Konecny fan and I don't think he's worth enough to get any of those three assets.

Levi and Johnson shouldn't get real raises as RFAs without arbitration rights yet. Quinn should be bridged (2 years 4.5M) due to injuries. Peterka they have to make a decision on as he could sign 8x8 and I'd probably be okay with it. Skinner's contract is the question mark there. Every player coming into the lineup will be on an ELC though. The other reality is you likely don't carry 5 dmen with 3.5M$+ cap hits. Someone is gonna be dealt (Jokiharju unless it has to be Byram).

I offered significantly more than that because I believe Konecny is worth more than Toffoli? I'm just saying that's your trade comparable. A middle pair D, first round prospect having a really solid year in the AHL and an early 2nd this year? That's substantially more.

Philly has no reason to move him nor should they I personally see TK getting extended but if Briere wanted to move him someone would offer a deal similar to Toffoli to Calgary in 2022

The Toffoli trade is a pretty bad comparable since Toffoli wanted to get out of Calgary, so they had little leverage and had a worse ppg than Konecny right now.

The only thing in that package that would interest them is Samuelsson. Rosen is the wrong type of prospect in this case. If they trade Konecny they will want a center prospect or a young center coming back, not a RW which is already loaded for them.

Also they don't have a reason to trade him unless someone gives them what they are looking for, otherwise they will just extend him.

Yeah they should extend him but that doesn't mean they will.
