Even if he waived would be a stupid trade for Leafs to do lul

He's useful enough keep and let him walk once his deals done

Chicago would take that and RUN. It really doesn't make sense for the Leafs though.

Why would we want that boat anchor of a contract, he is at best a 4 to 5 m center.
This gives TML a legit chance at a cup next year .
Look up how many centers making much less have outperformed Tavares it is really sad.
Monahan and Sharangovich almost have him matched in points and ORielly has more points then Tavares and all 3 players combined make less then Tavares LMAO!
He is the MAIN reason we can NOT field a proper roster !

Lets hope TML are smart enough to do something like this , maybe the return is a 1st but this makes more sense then any other move, Tavares is holding the entire team back.
