Description
The retools is. Finnish is go for playoff runs and more

For Matheson is a high price to take Necad but we need to improve the offense and we have a great defense deeper whit Hutson. Engstrom Mailloux. Reinbacher
Is ok to give a great Def like Matheson

Whit Marchesseault. Necas and a Demidov if I grow up in the draft day but if Montreal stay 5-6 overall on the draft why not to take a defense if you trade Matheson for offensive skills is a good opportunity to Montreal to be a contender for the next few years whit this moves

Is possible to improve the trade if I need more Ont necas but is possible to take a risk RFA offert if Hugues think is better option that trade Matheson for Necas

Another young talent is possible to take for remplace necas on a trade

But never trade the 1st pick for a Zegras NEVER

Demidov is only signed through next season and has supposedly stated he plans to go to North America as soon as that contract is up. So, while it is still possible he does re-sign, it sounds like he could be in the NHL as soon as the 25-26 season.

Thanks for the info, I was thinking that he haved the same type of situation than Michkov.

No one is paying a 2nd round pick for Dvorak. Especially not CHI. Struble is essentially worthless to CHI, as well.

Canes wouldn’t be looking for an LHD in a return for Necas. They have Slavin and Orlov already under contract for next season, and Nikishin when he comes over would put Matheson into the press box from being 3LD. There is likely only 3 players that the Canes would be willing to move Necas to the Habs for, and the Habs aren’t going to move any of them. As has been many times, the Canes and Habs are not good trading partners for Necas.

Hawks obviously decline and counter w/ Dvorak and the Montreal '25 2nd for future considerations. Habs can keep Strubel.

It’s mind boggling that Habs fans feel they can get anything for their overpaid, underperforming, often injured centre. To think you have them getting a 2nd round pick is bold to say the least. Struble as a LHD holds absolutely no value to the Hawks since this is an organizational position of strength with several high level young prospects in the system.
