No to all trades both sides. Not only that but we overpay Domi at 5 million. Also Girard really struggled this year in Colorado. Yes he sill has high potential, but just trying to see fit for all these moves is hard. Atleast the title of blockbusters makes sense.

Ain't no way Flames do that trade - ESPECIALLY with retention on Kuzy

I agree with his potential, and really like Girard. It is hard to see Colorado trading Girard if he shows his potential these playoffs. Making the trade a no both sides. If not, now is the risk the leafs run with his salary and hope to reach. Either way, I don't see a fit.

WTH are you talking about Girard has been great since getting back from the PAP. 55.9 CF, 2.9 RCF at even strength, +7.5 xGD all while rocking a stupid .974 PDO. This has easily been Girard’s best season outside of 20-21. Yeah his scoring is down a bit 25pt 82 game pace, but he is significantly better defensively since coming back from the PAP.

I tried to compose some kind of Dr. Seussian rebuttal for the Marner trade w/r/t we're not trading Jenner (and it's silly for Toronto to move him to begin with) but I've been driving all day and am more sapped as a result than I realized. So you'll just have to settle for a "no". Sorry.

It's not True, since January Girard play very well.

I never said it wasn't true. More relating to the fact where it doesn't makes sense for both sides. Girard when playing better provides better value to the Avs than trading him, as for leafs they need to trade for him when he is struggling but makes you question his overall potential. The most likely option considering age and everything is that Colorado holds onto him because his potential is still that of a 1-3 defenseman.
