Sharks could use a true P1 D, Nurse's physicality, and that 1st round pick. Sharks have tons of cap space. Retain 10% + on Nurse and the Sharks might do it.

What's the thought process behind this? Usually players lose significant value as they slow down, but since Nurse is an elite skater I don't think that's a concern.

They'd be stupid not to, that's a steal. And there's virtually no risk, as his contract runs for only 1 more season.
