I am seeing Ross Colton to NJ for: 2- 3rds, 1- 2nd. Maybe Holtz has that last one (1- 2nd) but I'd rather go after one of these other options before moving Holtz. Avs need to clear some spacer and their fanbase have seemed to pick RC as the guy moved. I think there is a deal here and RC would probably love it (he had Devs PJs- Parise joke again about ZP to To yrs ago!) He is the type of player they need.
Bastian trade to OTT is a new look! I was suggesting elsewhere Nate to Avs with a pick/prospect for Colton. Cheap replacement for the UFAs that probably go elsewhere and something else. Bastian (and Mcleod) played with Woody in Jersey and they were pretty tight as a unit. Just a thought. But yes RC to Jersey is a nice get.
