The pens aren’t firing sully. At most Reirden gets canned and that’s really the only one that needs to be.

i hate to disappoint you all but sullivan isnt getting canned by dubas. his coaching staff might get canned, and rightfully so. but sullivan? nah. not goin anywhere, not after the way they finished.

No way Hawks make that trade. They would just keep Danato & the 5th vs. paying Reilly 3.5 to get hopefully 40 points.

Take Donato out of the deal and the Hawks probably consider it. Or just pay the Hawks a 3rd to take Smith at his full cap hit.

The best quote I read on Sully goes something like this.

I get the penguins are old and their roster has problems and such ...... but you can't tell that the NYI and WSH rosters are any better.
The penguins got out coached, and that's why they aren't in the playoffs.

So by all means if you want him, feel more than free to take him. Because who ever it was that stated that.....is right.

I like what Ned has done this season - but if he commands 4mil I think the money is better spent on an upgrade to the skaters and just bring up Blom
