If necas would sign a 5.5 x 6 he'd stay in NC

If Necas is willing to sign that, a trade isn’t being made. Besides, I don’t think the Isles have the assets the Canes would want for Necas either, so probably not the greatest of trading partners if Necas were to be moved.

Chicago maybe says yes if they feel they need to add another center depth veteran but I think they'd still find one for even less than a 5th or look to take a cap dump and gain assets.

Hawks would probably have interest in JGP. But more likely at his full cap hit with a sweetener attached to take him. Hawks probably only consider this is they strike out in free agency on another middle 6 center. The retention on JGP only benefits the Hawks if they want to trade him at the '26 TDL.

No offense but that’s a bunch of nothing and picks for Necas lol but it depends if they want a high pick or a good roster player for Necas
