There’s just no upside In either players. It would look really bad for Adams to trade Krebs because he was apart of the Eichel deal.

No upside in either player for Buffalo... They're gonna be looking to package pieces to get better... Not the other way around.

Tampa Bay probably accepts but not so sure about Buffalo. Also on board w/ both Kapanen and Martinez if they'd sign those deals.

Would love Kapanen and Martinez if they sign those deals. Marty seems like the perfect 6th/7th defensive minded d-man to mentor guys like Croz and especially Lilleberg.

TB obviously says yes to that trade, though I'm not sure Buffalo does the same.

Edit: If we're signing Duke to a 3M deal, the least we can do is give him 1 more year or 2. I'm certain this guy is sick of being a journeyman and he's found his home quite well here in TB.

Frankly, A LOT of this is just wrong

1- right NOW, Krebs is slotted in as our 3C after we just traded Mittelstadt. And while we do have other Center talent still coming, it’s a question as to whether or not we have anyone ready next year to come up & take on the 3C role

2- Sheary was already in Buffalo for a few years. It didn’t go great as we were so horrible at the time, and there’s VERY LITTLE chance he’d leave a good team like Tampa to come back to a “maybe” like the Sabres

3- why give up Krebs for Jeannot?
If we even want him- big IF -we could just give up a mid-late round pick to either get him, or a similar type player
Just doesn’t make sense

4- bottom line: we aren’t looking to move Krebs, and we really aren’t gonna “sell low” for guys like this anyways
