What's your price for just LaCombe? The other two hold no interest at all.

So do we want to talk about how bad an idea it is to swing for two of the top UFAs available, or do we just talk about how you've capped out this team with your 2C and starting goalie due raises next season with less than 8 million in cap,.or the fact that your 1C, 2LW, 1LD, 2LD, 3LD, 2RD, 3RD, and 3C are due raises the year after when there is no big cap jump.

And that's before we even talk about the trades.

We've told you, 2nd pairing RD or middle 6 RW of equal caliber and age range. Or LaCombe plus the EDM 1st for your first.

You did way too much here.

Vatrano will stay until the deadline

ANA isn’t retaining $3M on Gibson, nor taking on Campbell

Same for Lehner

Lacombe, Lundestrom, and Regenda could be expendable, but that’s not the right return to target (don’t need more LW, and a 4LW isnt addressing a need)

Hronek would be nice, but the quantity approach vs quality likely doesn’t get it done

Reinhart alone, sure (I’d prefer stammer if we can pull it). Not Rein and Guentzel. Ducks have a ton of guys coming off ELCs in the next 2 years, that’ll put us in a terrible spot to be able to keep them around

New Jersey's pick is tenth overall, which itself is worth more than the first (#17) and second (#43) for which the Canucks obtained Hronek last year, and you want us to add all that now that Hronek is due for a big raise?

I don't think so.

But the point is moot because New Jersey isn't trading us that pick for Frankie Vatrano even without the second.

I didn't know who he was a fan of. Not sure if I asked you before or if it was someone else, but what's your opinion of Kessel?

Haven't watched him play, stats lead me to believe he is a 6/7 D at the NHL level basically the same outlook as Helleson. Scouting reports also claim 6/7 projection, overall not interesting, got a few of them in the pipeline.

That's fair. I just asked because opinion on him varies quite a bit.

Not even a remotely compelling trade proposal for EDM.
