Trading Saros to acquire Marner is counterproductive. I think Nashville would make a lot of things available for Marner but not Saros, Josi, or Forsberg

As a Nashville fan, i personally dont have any interest in Marner. We have much bigger needs and tieing up that much cap at RW will hinder us from fixing those needs.

Stamkos isn't signing in Toronto PERIOD FULL STOP!! However he's definitely not going there for that. He literally met with Toronto and came back and signed an offer that had been there 8 months earlier when he realized what a nightmare the childhood dream of playing in Toronto would be. Stamkos is a very private person. He wouldn't get a moments peace in Toronto.

Just like all of the TML TDL ACGM posts, Seattle's still not enticed to trade Larsson for that offer.

John Tavares expectation: 2G, 2A in 7 games, solid 2C
William Nylander expectation: 4G, 3A in 7 games, solid PK Elite 2RW
Mitch Marner expectation: 3G, 6A in 7 games, solid PK Fantastic 3RW
Auston Matthews expectation: 6G, 5A in 7 games or completely shutdown the Marchand line with 4G, 5A in 7 games, Franchise 1C

The big issue is Marner isn't making Marner available.

Seattle isn't trading away their top-pair defensemen, AND a draft pick for Toronto's castoffs. If anything, Toronto would have to send a pick to Seattle in this particular scenario, and it isn't gonna be a third rounder
