they do need to make cap room and I doubt they trade Whitecloud or Hague so leaves McNabb as the one to trade

I doubt CHI would even take Mikheyev's contract for a 4th, let alone send Anderson and Donato back.

You really need to think before posting.

Donato produced at the same rate as Mikheyev while making $2.75m less this season. The Hawks will be assisting the Canucks by freeing up $2.75m in cap space next season and $4.75m the following. On top of that you want Chicago to throw in the RFA rights to Anderson who proved to be a very useful depth forward… all of this for the awesome return of a 4th round pick three drafts from now.

Davidson tells the Canucks to go kick stones.

It takes a 1st round pick + for Chicago to even remotely consider your trade proposal, not a 4th.

And that is a mistake Mikheyev had probably the most unlucky year of all Canucks. I bet if he had half the puck luck he had any year before he would've had closer to to 30 goals while being a very good defensive forward and finally starting to find his stride coming from ACL surgery. I really don't think Van should trade Mikheyev as everyone else thinks he's garbage cause of a bad 40 game stretch this year. We should trade guys when their value is highest not lowest.

Except it’s hard to hold on to a player that is a black hole for scoring specially when playing in the top 6 🤷‍♂️

He's not usually and probably smarter for Van to chalk it up as a bad year coming off ACL surgery (was better than Connor Brown rehab year) and expect him to come back 20 goal while being great defensively then spend picks we are sorely lacking to trade him away as most teams would want
