No sought after FA (Tanev, Trenin) is signing to play for the tire fire in Kanata 🤦🏻. It’ll be bottom of the barrel shopping only

He probably wants to go somewhere to win, not miss playoffs every year

Well, DAL looks like a legitimate contender so let's hope they win the cup and Tanev gets to scratch that itch before looking for one last big buck contract.

Maybe Stars can win, but that’s a big ask given there 8-10 legit cup contenders this year. I just don’t see Kanata as a festivation of choice for coveted free agents; Ottawa is underrated city (great place to live) but the team is terrible, the organization is (or has been up to now) a mess, the market is small, taxes are high, weather is meh, etc

Yeah too bad this isn’t like the mlb where players are here from April to October lol and go elsewhere in the winter. They’re stuck in the cold during the worst months

I think for most Canadian + European & some American players it’s not an issue. But enough American players have clearly shown a preference to play in America that it’s a concern - especially given that the # of USA born players & stars is increasing

Florida , Tampa, Vegas , Dallas , LA is where everyone wants to be. I’d even throw Nashville in there, it’s booming lately

We have plenty of beef on here lol but that Flyers trade is ridiculous. Farabee is not worth nearly that. If we can get a 1st for Farabee I expect him to be traded but I don’t expect us to even get a 1st for him. I expect him to be traded in a bigger trade where he is only a piece

What even is the issue with him . He had 50pts , only 24 and is signed for 5 mill. What don’t u like about him. It seems to me like he can eventually hit 65pts

He just disappears. There’s definitely questions in my mind and many other Flyers fans minds about his compete level and his relationship with Torts. Reports were that Kevin Hayes took Farabee under his wing and frankly he looks like he has a different attitude now. He should easily be able to hit 65 points and I think he probably will but not if he is still with the Flyers or at least under Torts.
