Spo the leafs trade their 2nd best player this season that they extended for 8 years for a forward who is no where near as talent offencivly and don't get any first for it either? Things would need to get pretty bad for the Leafs and Nylander to even consider this

I lowballed the offer, but I think Leafs would legit be a better playoff team with a Nylander Wilson 1for1 swap

laugh laugh laugh Capitals are the 2nd oldest team in the league after Pittsburh, They need to start rebuilding sooner rather than later. Nylander isn't leaving Toronto for a team that's even lucky to be in the playoffs and are going to get swept by the NYR.

I full expected you to say Nylander won't play in Canada. Isn't that your thing?

Wilson, Strome, Carlson all at 50% retained. Then maybe Leafs consider.

Would you take Marner instead? Could help get Ovi get the record pretty fast and you can flip him at the deadline.

You yourself obviously see Nylander as an upgrade. Obviously a massive one. Arguing otherwise is just poor used car salesmanship
