Just what COL is going to do, go from a struggling goalie to another struggling goalie and double the cap hit. Like make that make sense for COL.

No you don’t .

The offer starts with an A to A+ prospect/young player for Brady.

That offers lacks so much quality it’s not even funny. Don’t want Cristall . TVR is okay but not worth anything in this trade

There is no way the Avs do this. If the retention made both goalies the same price… the answer is still probably no.
We didn’t sign Darcy because he cost too much and we thought he would decline with age. Nothing has changed in that equation. We sure as hell ain’t paying an additional 1.5m for the privilege.
