LA declines, Moore is on a budget contract and just potted 30, LA could probably get Chychrun for a 2nd and a decent prospect.

The LAK aren't trading their hometown kid for Jakob Chychrun.

We cannot have JBD starting opening night, that 4th line needs change and Kuemper is not the answer. We have Kleven to play LD next year on the 3rd pair so if we wanted a defenseman from Vegas it has to be Whitecloud or Korczak.

I do like Moore, but as others have said I can't see LAK doing that.

No . The Sens aren’t trading him for less than a 1st and a solid bottom 6 player

You'll get it, but not from us. Dude was a -30 and the Kings are likely to lose Roy this season. Not the right fit.

Los Angeles isn't trading local boy and fan favorite Trevor Moore, who just keeps getting better. And the Chychrun ship sailed at the trade deadline. For next season, we have much more important cap priorities, like re-signing Matt Roy if possible and if not, getting winger help for poor Pierre-Luc DuBois and filling both goaltender vacancies. And even if the only Kings game you watched all season was last night's, you should know that Chychrun isn't the answer to whatever ails LA defensively.

If the Kings lose to Edmonton again, then I think everyone not named Byfield and Clarke are on the table. So I don't agree with others when they say Moore won't be traded.

I do agree that the Kings aren't going to trade Moore for Chychrun. The Kings lose the value trade in that deal. That would have been fair when Chychrun had 3 years remaining on his value contract. A 30g scorer that is great defensively and locked in for 4 more years at a team-friendly $4.2M carries a lot more value than one season of affordable Chychrun.

With Backstrom and Kuznetsov off the books already, and Oshie soon to follow, Cap is not a large concern for the time being. Would make more sense long term to keep Kuemper around to be the veteran presence to Stevenson, and let it ride if he continues to struggle or trade him for positive value if he manages to bounce back.

Have to sign someone good as a 1b with that money anyways. They're not paying to get rid of Kuemper
