This is a tough one but I’m struggling hard to move Greig for this. Konecny will get paid 9+ and those 2 late 1st and 2nd is an excellent place to draft some really good Dmen

he aint getting 9+ from any team more like between 7 and 8M

Disagree . Theres rumours he wants 9.5 lol

Which is probably why the extension talks haven’t gotten much traction

I really love Greig . His style of play will be very important to winning. Same with Kleven and Ostapchuk

you need to give to get, OTT can draft a better Greig with 7th OA this year, get Tij and piss off CGY fans

If Konecny came with an extension I would prob do it though I think we could keep the 2nd. I'm also with you on moving Chabot instead of Chych. I think getting Pesce would convince Chych to extend.

I'd actually be pretty happy with this trade all things considered. It would be overkill to demand Ottawa's 1st, and Greig would fit good on the timeline for our rebuild.

I would do this trade and I think he falls between $8.5 and $9 AAV but his number 100% starts with $8 minimum lol
