Why is Robertson sitting, Jarnkrok with Matthews and Gregor with Kampf???

Dewar - Kampf - Jarnkrok is a legitimately good 4th line that I'm not overly concerned about getting caught against Boston's top lines. Instead you put Gregor and Kampf, who were actually terrible together this season, back together and you sit one of your better offensive weapons in a game Samsonov is starting and with a PP that is STRUGGLING

Should be Robby - Matthews - Holmberg as the 3rd line and the aforementioned 4th. No reason for Gregor to be in tonight.

Just a mind boggling decision.

Massive hit on Pasta by Edmundson and Sammy with 2 good stops

Need to tighten up as its a bit to open but nothing crazy yet.

If they can hem the Bruins in more and tire them out that will really help em

This is what I was concerned about

Matthews comes back and Leafs revert to lazy plays we saw game 4.

Not saying its him but man so far what we saw game 5 and 6 has no showed.

Hopefully the Leafs allowing a lot of shots is helping calm Sammy, Leafs need to get some chances though

In the previous two games, Leafs were rarely hemmed in, had easy exits and few icings. Not such much tonight as the 11 shots for the Bruins. in the first period indicates

Man I hate that so far this team is proving my point right when it comes to Matthews and momentum

He comes back and they revert back to their old selves rather than continue the step up

This is what I was scared of to happen and why I wanted him saved for FLA

As so far Leafs are not playing like they did 5 and 6. This is giving me game 4 flashbacks

Team just needs to focus and play like they did game 5 and 6 not whatever this was


Hopefully they prove my concern on Matthews return wrong and go back to excellence but so far its been 50/50

It's scoreless, I'll take it! They did get better later on. Willy could have had one there.

So I guess we went back to game 1 system for calling penalties than what what we usually see game 7's where penalties be rare lul
