    Hawks decline that Schmidt trade. Another bottom 6 forward isn't close to take Schmidt's contract. Hawks will want that '26 2nd instead.

    If you’re just giving away Appleton, Buffalo would be glad to take him and Iafallo. That adds a lot of veteran playoff experience to a team that just wants to get back into the dance.

    It's really interesting for NYI. I would say yes. Get a scoring winger, an immediate replacement for Pulock, and potentially save $ next year to more easily re-sign Dobson and Romanov.
