Blues would be on the phone with registry before you had a second to change your mind.

    Older, bigger, bottom 6

    2 defensive D

Goalie upgrade, had good numbers this season.

This covers all the areas where upgrades at needed.

How or who Staios will get, is the interesting part. Can’t wait for the dominos to fall.

Slow, I mean sloooow slooooow. Unnoticeable, too expensive for what he offers, etc. Taking up ice time from kids who need the experience while the Blues retool.

I have no clue what they can get . Probably like similar to the Debrincat trade. A 1st rounder in the early 20s this year and a good bottom 4D is my guess

He is a completely average 3rd line center in a team that already has a better one of those(schenn) and he doesn’t have linemates that can generate offense

He had a brutal year man. If he was as good like McDonagh and Lindholm who are two guys that got traded as top pair on their teams and became 2nd pairs on another team , the Sens would’ve easily made the playoffs.

If the Sens can somehow get someone like Saros and add a legit shutdown D, Pesce for example, they're gonna do good. That forward core is awesome.

Not looking forward to what Pesce will command.

And I’m not willing to trade Pinto or the 7th overall for Saros.

The forward corps is good but they need good depth . They need bottom 6 players poached from Vegas , Carolina and Florida

He’s a Big 3C who isn’t a great skater, yet somehow he leaks the zone and ends up with a breakaway every 5 games. Would not be a good fit in Ottawa to help insulate the young D. However he would score more points there.

I’m not sure if he’d waive for Canada
