No, nothing of interest for Rossi.

Would rather hold onto him unless we also get a better replacement tbh

Minnesota isn't trading any centres, that is their depth weakness.

Unless Laine specifically wants out, I don't see why Columbus would do that. Laine is at his lowest value but I think he could command more

Toronto doesn't need Dvorak AT ALL

While the wild are rumoured to trade Rossi, I think they could do better than that return

If Laine is healthy, he gives us 70-80 points easy. For that return, we most definitely keep him.

Hardly....

It's the only reason why he's considered to be available.

We have both Riley Heidt, and Danila Yurov coming in the system. Hopefully Yurov's 1-year extension to stay with his KHL team next year puts any plans to shop Rossi to bed.

But the point is that the top-six is going to get crowded, very fast.

Completely agree. Unless we can have an upgrade for cheap, marner, I don’t see us moving him this offseason

Okay, I see but that's not now, that's in 1-2-3years.

Toronto needs a goalie and RHD... why would we take Dvorak?

Is it? Because that's NOT what's been reported all.

Yurov is highly expected to play right away once he comes over. That's now a year at minimum, and there was a heavy expectation that he could've come over THIS off-season.

As for Heidt, there's been massive discussion that he could make the team out of camp next year. And given the options for him are to either play for the Wild next year or go back to the WHL. He'd have to play in Minnesota's top-six in order to stick. They're not going to play him in their bottom-six.

So, it really isn't that long of a wait.

Or maybe you don't leave your centre depth to an NHL rookie especially for a team with serious cap issues

Heidt likely plays wing this year IF he makes it.

And Minnesota did just fine in that regard when a ROOKIE center established himself as a legitimate 2C and was a top 3 Calder player for 97% of the season.

Which is why it's stupid he's available at all. But saying it's not possible or that it shouldn't happen is also likewise asinine.

You know the sorts of packages y'all keep putting up in desperate attempts to get KJ that keep getting turned down? That's the sort of thing you should be considering offering for Laine.
