All i know is that Taro Tsujimoto is a fake player that the Sabres drafted in 1974 ... 1) why did they try to draft a fake player and 2) how did the league not notice as the player didn't come up to get to know the guys?

So the Sabers GM at the time was not a fan of the draft system so he used his 11th round pick. Teams generally didn't like picking players outside the US and Canada and like how the draft is now after the first round players do not go up to a stage and meet their guys. James Riemer was at home when the Leafs drafted him, so it was a good cover. Basically it is now just a big inside joke.

The entire story is also on Wikipedia, in very great detail. If you really wanted to know this information, you could have opened up Wikipedia, typed "Taro Tsujimoto" into the search bar, and gotten your information that way, instead of having to wait for somebody to respond.

It's 2017. Google and Wikipedia have been around for more than a decade, at this point. You oughta know how to use them to find information by now.
