Quoting: Rules Thread
GMs will be in charge of all 31 teams before any trades can be made.

I count 27(?) teams so far in the forum. So at least 4 teams to go before we can even expect the go-ahead.

Teams that still need to be added are Boston, NYR, Anaheim, and Vancouver... Vancouver is dealing with family issues so I'd assume that they won't be available for the next while... maybe October is when trading commences?

In the event that TS is out for an extended period of time, we can start the trading I presume. We cannot have the outlier holding up trades, but we have prior notice that he is dealing with some serious matters and I am not going to contact him at this time, out of respect.

Please note that it is still (4) trades per month, or 30 day period.

Is it from (Date) to (Date) or from the time of your first trade, that the 30 day period starts, or something else?

Sept 15th to October 15th (So everyone's available trades go back up to 4 on October 15th) or
I make a trade on September 26th, so I don't reset to 4 until October 26th or
4 trades in September, 4 trades in October, etc.

Its a per month basis. I mislead when I said 30 days.

It is irrelevant how many days it is. 4 trades in September ; 4 in October ; 4 in November ; etc.

Sorry for that confusion

we could always give Vancouver a part-time GM but if the main GM returns they become the GM.

NHL Rules:
Each Club must have a roster of at least 20 players, composed of 18 skaters and two goaltenders. Players on Injured Reserve do not count in the 23-man limit.

At least long enough to get your numbers for the other thread I would guess.

Don't do any of that yet. We need to set up a Waiver Order in order to do that.

Just hang on for a sec

Not at the moment, no. There is no required cap compliance as of yet; however, I would suggest that you create another Arm-Chair team with just your AHL and prospects that you put in your description so that people can easily access who is available.

You might find it hard to just add all the cap up and give exact numbers, but if that is what makes it easier for you, go for it.

Also, I want to end this "ok" BS.

This was in good fun when it only happens once every so often, now its just annoying to have to scroll through the page and skip all of these "ok" responses.

And you are probably thinking to. yourself, "I am going to respond with 'ok'." Keep in mind the BOE is talking about implementing a "job security" meter that creates a visual of where you stand and takes into account negotiation, activity, and trade results.

I can tell you right now, I don't have a problem with making an example out of someone; once this is rocking and rolling, these "ok"s are not going to rub me the right way if we have some borderline rough negotiations. Just a head's up.

*cue "ok"*

When are we having a buyout period, etc.. or is the boe still working on that?

Also you should set up a page where GMs asks BOE questions and such if you havent done so already.

My current thought is just having a thread where GMs can apply buyouts, waivers, etc. in the near future; just need to set up some sort of way to do that.

There will be a thread coming up for communication regarding the BOE and GMs
