I feel Wheeler carries more value to my team than McDonagh would. I also need Conner's ELC value for this season and next to be able to afford to resign free agents. Zadorov would be an option but my ++ would need to carry salary back with it.

Well right now your using Blake Wheeler at center so if you move him back to RW then Little plays 1C and either Eller or Perreault plays on 2C then when Schifele returns, Little goes back to 2C and Perreault moves to the wing.

Hello Boston Assistant GM here,

Your team looks nice so far. What's the price on Armia? I have some limited interest in him because he's a right handed 3rd line wing and we're likely to lose Nash to free Agency. Would you take something like Nash + 2018 5th for Armia? Nash has 1 more point than Armia, so they are comparable except Nash is a UFA and I don't know how re-signing goes. If you get first crack you could probably get him for slightly under 2M and you look to have room if the cap goes up to 80M and Enstrom / Green coming off the books.

Armia is a great fit for the Jets as he is solid in a checking role, PK and picking up points with limited minutes. He is also capable of moving up the line-up if there are injuries. Nash is getting his points averaging 17 min per night with pp duties. Armia with 12 min and limited pp time.

4 years older means very little to me at the ages they are, but being a UFA does matter. That's why I figured we'd have to add some kind of draft pick compensation, but I honestly feel like Riley Nash is a better player this year than Armia and also that your roster is loaded to win in the next 3 years before you lose Simmonds or Schenn when you have to pay your goalie, Connor, Ehlers and Vlasic a lot of money.
