OK so let me get this straight, You offer me this:

"I'll do a 6th for Martinook given his production. 4th for Rieder."

I add on two AHL'er contracts with high cap only to get a worse return in the end.?

I don't actually mind MDZ all that much but Im getting away from what it is im actually looking for though. Getting MDZ just means another guy I would need to flip again.

I'll start by offering Chlapik straight up (just starting low, we can negotiate) ... now you can make a huge asking price, and i can offer something a bit more in the middle, and on and on until we either have a deal or this doesn't work.

That could potentially work. Its a little hard to gauge the value of picks though since the metric for deciding the ranking is up in the air it seems. If its has anything to do with power rankings, your's is going to be late 1st...
