OK so make an offer. Im interested.

            i'd add a 4th and a prospect.

OK so if I accept, when could we make it official? Because I have other offers for those guys right now.

Good size, given a shot he could fill some holes for a time. Or he might blow it and just fizzle out.
He's a heady player, good hands, works hard down low, hard on the walls, not afraid to get dirty.

            what's his potential?

Good size, given a shot he could fill some holes for a time. Or he might blow it and just fizzle out.
He's a heady player, good hands, works hard down low, hard on the walls, not afraid to get dirty.

Are we talking about the same Jack Hoffman? I always thought he could shoot it, but he takes too long to warm up, basically just going up and down the rink all night, and then he tends to blow it at the climax of the game. I'd offer up Mike Hunt, Brad's younger brother, but that's it.

OK so if I accept, when could we make it official? Because I have other offers for those guys right now.

Maybe. A bit to dirty for me, just seems sloppy sometimes. Can take on the bigger D's in front in the O-zone, but gap closure could use some work....

I can't answer yes or no about making any trades before the start of the season. It really depends what offers i get, and i'd still have to make a decision. So the answer i guess would be that i probably won't make any trades before the start of the season, but there's still a chance.
The moves i might make before the season are a) adding a RW and b) adding an extra goalie. Or maybe a deal for a top pairing LHD but that'll be hard to do.
If i make any moves before the start of the season, it's probably just gonna be one, i'm not rebuilding or anything.

Like cap said. Do what you want but make what you want clear to other GM's.
People shouldn't have a problem if you're up front about what you are doing.

If you say Turris is available, and I make you an offer, then you tell me he's not available, or not available until a certain time, it can be annoying.
If you say Turris is available after October 15th, I know to wait until then. I can still offer, but I'm not expecting you to make a decision right away.
            See what I'm saying?

Anyway. I only dropped by to get someone else's attention and thought I'd give you some advice that might cut down on any issues you're having in communications. Poor communication creates problems and misunderstandings. You don't have to take my advice and I won't be commenting on it any more. Good luck!
