We are not doing counters, I don't think.

We explained in the thread that you can either accept, or decline and allow Nikita Zadorov to be Offer Sheeted.

Why aren't we allow to counter? Or I in this case.

Because we are only off by like 600k. It's not worth our time or anyone's time to debate a difference in 600k , nor does it pass a threshold that would warrant another negation on this.

You "countered" with a 2M x 2 year deal. Thats even less than the 600k.

Whats the best thing thats going to happen? You get an extra 100k? Thats not worth the time of the BOE, who have to figure out when we are doing FA, releasing power rankings and trade ratings, etc.

You can accept our offer, or you can test your luck in Offer Sheets. The choice is yours.

Please note that I will be recommending to the BOE to implement a time limit on RFAs and when you have until to decide by.

Yeah it's time to get this over with; Cap, accept or decline. The ball's in your court.

Any news on the FA period. It would be nice to do before the season starts.

Expect me to be able to talk about it this weekend. This has been by far my worst week at school in terms of workload this year, and have not been able to get on as frequently or have conversations as much as we would like.

Also, are we using ELC slides?

BOE-

I am informing you as of now that, I will be absent from October 7-12 as I will be on vacation. I don't wish to have anyone fill in for my team during that time and will have it closed for that week. Please let me know of anything that I should be aware of. Thank you - DB7

Geez seems like we're creating threads for every single thing in the game now guys. Its getting a bit exaggerated IMO.

How so? I see no issue with it. In fact, it's better this way to help with organization and neatness.

Its too keep things saved and to make things easier to track. Now instead of wasting precious time searching for draft picks, we have it all in one thread.

Most of this were standard threads, just felt that the culture of the game should be more sophisticated. Plus, we had nearly 3 pages of unorganized threads in v1. At this rate, we should have 1-2 pages of purely relevant threads.

The BOE has progressed in talks involving the following:
Rule Changes
Retained Salaries
RFA Compensation

UFAs
Dates on UFAs
Procedure on UFAs
Contract Regulations
Trade Regulations
Waiver Regulations

Waiver and Buyouts
Dates on Waiver and Buyouts
Formatting/Procedure on Waivers and Buyouts

Lottery for 2018 Entry Draft
Procedure

The BOE will further deliberate on these matters into the weekend, and as new information/conclusive decisions are made, the BOE will notify the GM Game community in regards to those changes.

Thanks,
phillyjabroni

Unless I'm wrong, the three-way trade between Florida, Colorado and the Islanders should not simply count as one trade for each team, since players were traded between all 3 teams.

Florida traded players to Colorado and the Islanders and received players from the Islanders.

Colorado traded players to the Islanders and received players from Florida and the Islanders.

So shouldn't that count as two trades for each team?

You may sign Lipanov however you want. Yes, I'm pretty sure ELC slides are in effect.
