I'm sure a lot of the moves made were a group decision in montreal. so who do you fire. the owner should have and did have some veto power on some of hockey moves but refused to exercise it. this organization seems to try to win now with a very average group of players, and now average group has gotten worse by comparison to its division even conference foes. it took leafs years after the burke, nonis fiasco to get into a good cap situation. the leafs still aren't rid of some of those contracts years later. despite winning the division last year with over 100 points, the team look like bottom third of the league team now. it turned really fast.

Yes, he is not a good GM. For every good move he makes, he makes 2 bad ones and is way to obsessed with depth guys when the team needs talent

Ride out the season then fire him. I don;t think he's a bed GM I just think he and management had an too high of expectations for their team. Bergevin has been making tweaks when he needed to do more than that
