<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BackstromIsTheGoat</b></div><div>i think they should look at getting rid of varly's contract and somehow dump palmieri as well, that extra money could get them some better wingers
i dont see them being nearly as good without trotz coaching unless the team is just better everywhere</div></div>

Varly is hard to find a move for - it's been rumored that he has every Canadian team + Washington on his 16 team NTC so you're basically wiping out most of the teams that need a goalie with that. And after watching Louis Domingue and Pyotr Kochetkov getting major minutes these playoffs, I don't think it's necessarily a bad idea to have a reliable veteran backup ready to go. If they trade Varly, all they have in the org right now is Jakuk Skarek - and I don't think he's ready for primetime yet.

You aren't wrong, you're banking on some positive regression here. Beauvillier shot 5% worse this year than he had for his entire career coming into the season, so I think you can see him bounce back up near 20 goals. Palmieri was brutal in the first half of the year, too - he put up 1 goal and 7 points in his first 25 games before getting hurt. He was 14-12-26 in 44 GP after coming back from injury - more along the lines of what you expect out of him. If those two guys come back to even just their career averages, it would be a big step up. I also think moving Brock Nelson after he scored 37 goals on 21.6% shooting isn't the worst move to make - I feel like he's going to go back to more of his 25 goal pace if he stays on the Isles next year. That's where the title of this ACGM came from, after all.
