His job right now is getting the right coaching staff in the NHL and AHL, getting pro development personnel. Upgrading the scouting staff at all amateur and pro levels. So these background moves don't show immediate results, but it's the necessary base good franchises have.</div></div>
I understand that, I’m not expecting miracles. It just sucks bc I think Zadina and ehn should be on the opening roster but idk if there will be room

With holland, I’d say there’s no way that’d happen. But with Yzerman, he’s unpredictable so who knows

His eligibility is up, he has to play pro now. So it’s either griffins or wings. He’ll prob play griffins most of the year and end up w the big club by the end of the year or beginning of next year

What I would do for point
Read the description. It’s what I would do, meaning what i’d Be willing to give up. Point is great and all, but again, Hronek, Mo, Z and Veleno all have way too much potential to let go right now. I mean, I’d throw in AA to the trade too but still

College doesn’t always translate to the nhl, ask Ryan kuffner lol. Cale makar debuted in the playoffs and showed the heck up, so we’ve already seen him in the nhl

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DiehardRedWingsFan58</b></div><div>The whole reason why Yzerman signed Filppula though, Was to move AA back to the wing.</div></div>
He plays like a winger. Although he didn’t do bad and he did put up 30 goals last year playing half the season as a Center, he’s still a natural winger. And yeah that’s why filp was brought back in. To hold on to it until Veleno is ready probably

Then what? Petterson and horvat wouldn’t have had as many assists? Lol. I’m not saying Patrick doesn’t have potential. I’m just saying that rn, they’re around the same age, both have a lot of potential, but boeser is head and shoulders better than him

Boqvist plays all positions making Motte a tradable commodity come deadline. Like a better Aberg.
DeAngelo has a bigger upside and can be packaged for picks once or if Woo is ready.
Lemieux replaces Sutter and brings the spice.
Patrick is better than Boeser in every category but doesnt get credit as he has played 3rd line in Philly.
Give him a season with Horvat or Pettersson and then complain about goal totals.</div></div>
But it’s all irrelevant bc u suggested trading boeser for Patrick straight up and that’s ridiculous. Not even Jim benning would do that

Yeah he doesn’t get credit for like the 25 points he had last year. He was the number 2 pick in his draft and he’s not even a top 5 player lol. Boeser is way better. Hughes has a ton of potential and butcher is a 2nd or 3rd pairing d-man. And you gave up a goalie who has a good chance of being a star, and another solid d-man prospect for 4th line grinder/ahl forward and an okay/good d-man

Team Canada
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>pharrow</b></div><div>teams are built as a whole. It's why McDavid would never be the top center for a canadian team. I don't care what you say about it. He can't win a face off for **** and it's a huge advantage in the game.
You win the face off, you get possession, and everything else goes easier. Which is why Bergeron who has never been a top 5 over all center in the league has always made the canadian team.
Because when you have to win the puck, he's the guy.</div></div>
I understand the importance of possession and winning the face off. Personally, I’d still put Crosby over him just bc of his defense. But I mean come on, it’s not his fault he’s having to do everything. Alex chiasson was his top line winger last year!! The oilers don’t have anything around him on offense besides rnh and draisaitl, so yeah he’s spending more time focusing on offense than defense. Like you said, teams are built as a whole. Bergeron has the luxury of having 2 of the best wingers in the league on his line, plus 3 more lines that are really good w a solid defense and a Vezina-level goalie. McDavid has 2 other good forwards 2 good d-men and that’s it??

Maybe it was just ottawa that sucked and not him?? Lol. And same for dekeyser. The wings defense has been god awful for the last 5 or 6 years. He’s a #3-4 defenseman having to be a #1 for the last 5 years, give him a break. He’s actually pretty good but never got the proper chance to develop. And same for risto, he’s the only good defenseman on a terrible team. Everyone else on this list I can somewhat agree with but you hating bro frfr

I mean, if I could get a 1st and 2nd for a top 3/4 d-man and a goalie, I’d take it lmao. Although DK isn’t worth it, I wouldn’t trade him. He’s a solid d-man that can play big minutes and can help the young guys. He’s always been a pretty good player, not his fault almost all of his d-partners have sucked

Ive noticed it too. I think people are either overrating Krug or underrating Mantha. Krug is good, but he’s not worth a 24 year old sniper/power forward hybrid who’s probably gonna be a consistent 25-30 goal scorer for awhile
