Lmao NJ got less for Coleman who is better was also cheaper and had an extra year on his contract, not to mention Cirelli is already playing better offensively and defensively than lehkonen this year so there is no spot for him on the team

TDL moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JTBF81</b></div><div>If Arizona even makes him available, there will be more than a few teams interested. Maybe Tampa is lucky and moves the younger player+ 2nd for Crouse retained and a 4th, but given the numbers he is posting on a very bad team, plus the fact that he is exactly the type that Tampa would want not only this year, but moving ahead with the likely departure of at least one of Palat/Killorn,make me think Tampa would pay the 1st to win a bidding war. The fact that Tampa could likely afford his next cap hit as well plays into the possible overpay for him.</div></div>
Lmfao you did not just compare 25 point career high crouse to palat and killorn

Even if that where true, which it’s not why would tampa get rid of seabrook a contract? Seabrooks is still on the books for the next 2 years which means tampa can take advantage of that extra 7 mil for 2 more years, it doesn’t make sense to move him and if you are right about tampa not using seabrooks LTIR space which. Once again you aren’t why would they move him a prospect a 2nd a phenomenal rookie for some 4th line bum who is already worse than the rookie? Why not use that cap space for someone like hertl,Kane or klingberg?

Coleman was much better offensively and defensivly than copp not to mention he was also cheaper and had term copp will at best get a 1st if Winnipeg retains some of his contract

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>nickkbowen25</b></div><div>Not true. Tampa can move Seabrook and not lose any space. Check for yourself make an Armchair gm</div></div>
I don’t think you understand how this works, tampa is currently only 700$ below the cap because they have seabrook they are able to place him on LTIR gives them 7 million in cap space, if they took seabrook off LTIR they would be 7 mil over the cap, acgm is broken I don’t know why it’s showing the effects of seabrook LTIR even if you trade him. But to put it simply seabrook allows tampa to go 7 mil ove the cap, which they currently are, you can see this if you check cap friendlys homepage

JBB pulls off some wizardry at the TDL
Wizardry? These are all massive overpays, I wouldn’t give up a 1st for crouse and I wouldn’t give up katchouk for crouse, defiantly not both together. No reason to give up all that for klingberg he’s not worth half that seeing as he’s a rental. And Foote is playing in the nhl fluery isn’t

Coleman was extremely cheap and had another year on his contract not to mention he was coming off of one of the best defensive seasons by a forward ever and he was leading NJ in goals

A hypothetical rebuild
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>justaBoss</b></div><div>Well yes it would be strictly a rental deal, that's for certain, but imo TB would likely do such a move regardless. Cal Foote and 32nd overall pick just don't seem like massive dealbreakers to me.</div></div>
Considering the one thing tampa struggles at when drafting is finding top end D prospects I feel like Foote is probably untouchable

A hypothetical rebuild
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>justaBoss</b></div><div>I think otherwise. Imo TB is just the team that would pull such a string that would bring them a top pair RHD for a very cheap cost cap wise. They've done plethora of such moves in the past.</div></div>
Yea but the cost of klingberg to acquire and to pay if they wanted to keep him after the season is far too high for tampa

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JTBF81</b></div><div>As long as Arizona retains an additional 75k, they do, and Tampa would accept this deal. Crouse is exactly the type of player they need for the middle 6 for this season. Maybe they keep him beyond this year as well, as he's definitely better than, "I can't finish to save my life" Joseph.
Correction, Tampa would need a slight bit more, but it's easily done as Tampa could send a late pick to a 3rd team for 387k retention no problem. Crouse is a great add for them and would be a great fit moving forward.</div></div>
If tampa moves seabrook at all they are instantly over the cap, not to mention that’s an extreme overpay for a player with a career high of 25 points
