NSH doesn't have room for another LD either. I don't see much in the way of hockey trades between the two teams. NSH might ask for picks to take one of BOS' cap casualties off their hands, but that's about it.</div></div>
Grizz excels 5x5, was one of the best in the league. Transitions well, exits the zone well, not a lot of mistakes. Shortcomings, no help at all on special teams, no physical play.
Fabbro is nothing more than a 3rd pair disappointment that never developed to what was expected.

No problem. Don’t want him anyway. Grizz is better than Fabbro. Boston has to many LD and not enough RD. Only reason it works. Rather trade Grizz for pick and clear cap space. Sign a cheap 3rd pair RD. Hopefully Don has learned his lesson and stops paying 3rd pair D men more than 1.5. 🤷🏻♂️

He really isn't, his role was just a bit different this season in Boston and it's reflected in his numbers. Dude still has some great wheels.

Game 1 without Bergeron and Ullmark
The beauty of this team is the depth. Even if Ullmark is out we still have an elite goalie. Even with Bergeron out we still have a good first lineup and depth throughout the forward core.

I'm not a believer in Zadina, and Barrie only makes sense for a contender. DET isn't there yet.
Why is NSH giving BOS good pieces for $9M in cap dumps?</div></div>
When did Hall become a cap dump?

Best Contract of Each Team
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bruins1054_gmb</b></div><div>I agree on Nylander. Great value, but $800k for a Top 4 d-man is hard to come by.
Samsonov? Read description. Lilly? Not more valuable than Nylander, and IDK how you could argue him over Gio.</div></div>
My bad, didn't see the expiring contracts part but to be fair, Sammy's a RFA so there's still team control.
I don't view Gio as a consistent top 4 whereas I do for Lilly, add on his age and that he's a RhD that is mobile, can make the first pass, can play PK and Pairing 1 on any night consistently and that's IMO a better contract than a 39 year old who's way past his prime (Gio is still amazing but the age will always concern me from a damage point of view)

Boston isn’t touching that. Swayman/Harrison worth more than that. Would not do Swayman alone for that.

Dunkin Doughnuts
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GiggywithGibby</b></div><div>Who's the odd man out then? You could move Ullmark, but there are so many goalies available this season as UFAs and still so little cap space available league wide, you will get next to nothing for him even with his Vezina season. Hall has a chunk of trade protection and his production hasn't been good enough to justify 6 mil AAV, plus you will need top 6 wingers next season, this UFA class is very light at LW talent, its better to get him back to 2LW and see if he rebounds. McAvoy and Lindholm are your top pairing going forward, the rest of the forwards you have under contract for next season are core guys. One of Krejci or Bergeron is probably gone next season, if not both, and Boston doesn't exactly have any young C talent lying around, at least none that is ready to go next season.
Its not as if this trade is without value to Boston either, Lundstrom is a good, young 2 way center under cost control, Vaaks and Anderson restore some NHL ready or near NHL ready talent at league minimum contracts, and this gets Reilly's cap recapture gone. I'd consider adding a pick to get the deal done, but not a significant one.</div></div>
Reilly, Grizz, Forbort, Hall, goalie. In that order. Tho Hall may have to be sacrificed. He only has a 10 team NTC. Be plenty of interest and he’s not really needed. You seem to forget Debrusk is really a LW. Their best player in the AHL is a LW/C and looks ready. Lysell could push Debrusk to LW as well.
They would also be better off re-signing Bertuzzi and trading Hall if it came to that and the $ was there. Doubt it though.
Clifton walks. Carlo traded. The #2 RD in the org behind Mac…Kai Wissman…an unimpressive guy they pulled out the German League. That’s why Carlo is not an option to create cap space.

Pretty easy no from Boston.
Boston is not using Carlo to create cap space. They have multiple other options for that.
