Boston isn’t ‘paying to move his contract’ in this post. The Canes are sending two assets to Boston and taking back the contracts. The way I see it, there is a possibility that Bruins have a cap crunch next year based on the performance bonus overages. Looks like they could be working minus 4-5m in cap space due to it.

This wasn’t my post, and frankly I’m not a big fan of Hall. Doesn’t matter to me much.
