Thats essentially the going rate for decent 3Cs moving forward. That's before factoring in the Buffalo tax.</div></div>
Then we should get a decent 3C then and not a bad 4C

Man that’s a bad outcome but I tend to agree. He’s going to be overpaid. Can Podkolzin develop into a similar player?

Bruins shouldn't trade Ullmark with Bahl + a 2nd as the centerpiece. I think you might be overvaluing Bahl based on both of these trades. I doubt EDM wants ro move Ekholm to dump cap, but I admit that I don't know their situation very intimately.

It's incredible the Leafs front office is all still employed while fans have been saying for years you can't compete with 60% of your cap tied up in 5 guys lol.

Also I can see a variation where Ullmark goes to NJ, a 2025 first and 2024 third to Ottawa, and Chyc to Boston

I like these D-Lines very much! Sucks if Peeke is out, he’s been great.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>csick</b></div><div>Sens decline</div></div>
Sens gave up a 1st and 2 2nds for Chychrun at the 2023 deadline. That was with 2 more years at an extremely team friendly deal left. I don't think the price is far off but a 1st + a 3rd is a decent starting place for a Chychrun trade this offseason.

2024-2025 Roster Possibilities
Boston isn't strained for cap and Jersey isn't the only team looking for a goalie. They have 25 mil in cap space (with <5 of that going to Swayman). Ullmark for a 2nd doesn't move the needle enough to not just keep him through the end of the deal. If a team wants a year of Ullmark plus negotiating priority through July 2025, it's more.

I don’t see Lindholm hitting 9 to 10. Tops it’s 8.5 and that will require some resurgence in the playoffs, which is entirely possible

Montour Re-Upped and Lundell Bridged
Any shot you guys move on from Knight to maybe try to keep Reinhart? Losing 50 goals is not a great thing for a team who is in their window. could be the easiest way to get out of some cap, I am sure san jose would be interested

Montour Re-Upped and Lundell Bridged
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BruinsWoahWoah</b></div><div>I can't see a way the Panthers re-sign both Montour and Reinhart without trading (basically giving away/sending assets... who wants that contract) Spencer Knight.
I wonder if Ekblad or Verhaeghe are available this offseason to free up space to retain Reinhart and Montour. Not sure they can afford both Reinhart and Verhaeghe in the future.</div></div>
Yes, that was my conclusion . . . it's actually possible to re-sign Reinhart, Montour and Lundell if Spencer Knight is traded away.
Personally, I'd much rather lose Knight than any of the other three because at least Florida has a proven goalie ahead of Knight, whereas they have no one anywhere close to replacing Reinhart, Montour or Lundell.
