Yeah and that’s where as a Ducks fan who’s subjected himself to way more Anaheim hockey than anyone should, I think you have a ‘media-fed’ image rather than the reality. I’ll totally concede that he scores flashy goals, doesn’t have the traditional reserved hockey demeanor, and is still a bit childish in general.

But his work ethic on and off the the ice has been solid, his defensive focus under a new coaching staff this year was pretty undeniable (though sadly a small sample size due to injury), and by all accounts he’s loved in the locker room. There’s a reason that the people who watch him most want to see him traded the least.

But don’t tell anyone. The last thing we need are more Zegras trades on this platform. The dude’s overrated 😜

No they don't do that trade, wingers are the easiest position to fill, top dmen are the hardest and most expensive. With the Byram bridge deal they now have the money to extend toews long term, which makes Girard the odd man out on the back end.

Lehkonen isn't being overrated, he provides the Hyman factor for the avs top line and has scored some pretty important goals for us in the playoffs.

Robertsons value is so low in comparison that they have been talking about including him in the trade to get rid of murray.

The Kadri/barrie trade was only made because makar arrived and did everything that barrie could do but much better and also play defense so barrie became expendable.

If the avs decided they needed to trade toews for forward help for 1 year, it's most likely not going to be for nylander as there are better options out there closer to the value of toews.. for example lindholm, schifele
