Wrong reply, oops, but I agree. They’re getting value for a player that they would otherwise have to pay to dump to Seattle.

Teams calling about Vince Dunn What would you offer
Would love for a low 1st from a team that has two or more firsts like Columbus or New Jersey, or even an early 2nd. There’s going to be some good players that fall, so having the opportunity to nab one would be ideal. A safer pick like Chibrikov/Coronato at 16th/17th overall and a riskier pick like Robertsson at the back end of the 1st would be a great 2021 draft for the blues, restocking the cupboards nicely.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CoopsTroops</b></div><div>What's STL's cap situation look like for taking on Palat's contract?</div></div>
We definitely have the space to do, we have enough to sign two top 6 LW’s this offseason and Palat at 5.3 is perfect.

Palat to STL makes so much sense, we would actually be willing to trade assets for him instead of Tampa having to pay for a cap dump. Bet he would waive too, I’m sure he’d love top 6 minutes on a team trying to contend and his play style would fit perfectly here.

I think Kreider would be a really good fit on this team, but I’m very concerned with cost. We need To keep our 1sts so we can keep a good prospect pipeline coming up and extending our window

That’s hilarious, I had made one exactly like this and tried posting but wasn't logged into my account. Only difference I had was a 2nd instead of a 1st!

Ristolainen to California
Rakell has so much value, young, can play all forward positions, 30 goal scorer, great contract, it would have to be Ristolainen + Nylander + pick for Anaheim to even consider trading their best forward.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Goulet</b></div><div>Why do people continue to pay Cam Ward money to play hockey?</div></div>
Because he played in 45 games for Carolina last year and put decent numbers, and there's no reason he couldn't play 30-35 solidly behind Allen. Plus STL has better goalie coaches.

I would love Skinner in STL, but I think sobotka should be in the return for cap space (considering Skinner is almost $6 M) : Thompson, Sobotka, Vannelli, 2018 1st Round Pick.

Nashville won't take two cap dumps for two of their best players. Maybe Miller, Killorn, Stralman, and a 2nd for Ellis and Arvidsson and even that's a stretch. You're better off keeping them in my opinion.

How to improve
De Hann is a LHD and Bogo is a RHD, why would we trade Edmundson for a RHD that's extremely overpaid and always hurt when we have Pietrangelo and Parayko already playing that side?? If you trade Edmundson, especially to Buffalo, it has to be for O'rielly or a top 6 Center.

No way Pittsburgh trades kessel for 3 3rd line player cap dumps.. I also would love o'reilly but I wouldn't include Allen in it. Has to be something different, recent reports are they are sticking with Allen.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BAC</b></div><div>Not a fan of the Larsson/RNH deal--I think we can get better value for Parayko, and I think there are a couple better options than RNH. But kudos for moving Berglund, and Larsson is a serviceable enough replacement for Parayko--though he lacks CP55s upside, I think.
The MIN deal is outstanding, love it. But don't think MIN takes that deal.
Sheary doesn't do much for me. I'd rather play Kyrou, Blais or Poganski in that spot, or if I was determined to bring in a diminutive forward, I'd choose a two way speedster like Grabner. Sheary is a decent playmaker, but Thomas needs a finisher or a crease crashing agitator on his RW.</div></div>
Yeah, I figured Larsson would be the perfect partner for Dunn on the 2nd pair because he's such a solid defender and shot suppresser.
Minnesota clears space in that deal and also gets two pretty good prospects. It's a toss up for them I think, but it helps them in The future.
I agree with your statement on the sheary trade. I only did it for if Kyrou does not make the team out of camp, and it was between Sheary and Dzingel.

That's really good. I actually like that a lot.! Larkin is more valuable than Faulk so the picks work themselves out and you can draft either another forward with top 6 potential or a D-man to replace Faulk. Either way it's awesome.

That bozak contract is atrocious, I think he would be good on the Canucks but if he signs for a shorter term with more money, it shouldn't be over 3x5.25-5.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ab33champ</b></div><div>That is a massive overpayment for ROR. Why even trade for a center if you’re adding JT too? Schenn is a perfect 1B and plays great with Schwartz. I just completely disagree with trading Parayko for anyone not named Drai, like <a href="/users/BAC" target="_blank">@BAC</a> said.</div></div>
I 100% agree with what you said, there's no reason to waste Parayko if we sign Tavares.. Schenn has proven himself to be fantastic at Center with Schwartz on the wing and that's the perfect 2nd line.

Both of them can not play in the AHL next year, so it's either NHL or OHL. The first two lines can be switched, either one can be the 1st line. Kyrou with Schenn and Schwartz would be very good.

Dynamite top 6 and young 3rd line
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Chopper02</b></div><div>I'm glad you said Severson, but I don't think he's the hardest to obtain. He struggles with consistency, but I think he can be in the same mold as Klefbom. His offense could see a boost and he's not afraid to throw his body around. I'd obviously prefer Parayko, but if you move Parayko for Severson and maybe someone like McLeod, I'm not sure i'd necessarily do it, but i'd consider it.</div></div>
I believe it would have to be separate trades, so Parayko and barbashev / sanford for Drai and then schmaltz + sobotka + Thompson / pick for Myers or Ceci. I would love to get a top Center but I love parayko..

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ktaaffe8</b></div><div>I am not thrilled with Faulk but I could not think of many affordable trade value wise RHD.</div></div>
I think some RHD's that would be decent in replacing parayko to play on the 2nd pairing would be; Ceci, Myers, Tanev, Severson, and Braun with the last 3 being the hardest to obtain. I would prefer Myers out of all of them, WPJ has a log jam at RHD with Buff and Trouba, so if we did trade Parayko for Draisaitl (or another top center) he would be a suitable replacement.
