Does this team make noise
It's too hard to predict how things are gonna turn out with some of these prospects. Will Berggren have a season similar to Raymond? Will Edvinsson have a similar season to Seider? Probably not. But if its anywhere close and if the team stays healthy they could be pretty exciting to watch.
I would still try to add another LD to the roster. Oesterle is pretty much a 7th man. Ideally, I think someone who can play a physical game like Zadorov or Chairot would be great for them.

I don't know how bad it's gonna be with Fabbri, but Zacha could be a nice replacement if he will be out for a long time.

sure for bruins.
Habs trade I'm split on. I would rather have Suter than Drouin, but I don't think Suter is good enough to be 2C and I think Veleno and Rasmussen handle the bottom 3C and 4C roles pretty well. Also, don't think Yzerman would trade to bring Drouin in after shipping him out in Tampa.
Washington trade is brutal for Detroit
Ottawa trade is brutal for Ottawa
Vegas trade, we don't need to give up assets to get a cap dump.

This is the prediction for next year
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DeadWingsv2</b></div><div>Because backup goalies are a dime a dozen and there are at least 5 decent options that will be free agents, so why waste a pick?</div></div>
because odds of a late 4th round pick making it to NHL is less than 20% and the odds they will play more than 100 games is less than 10%. For a pick that low, better to go with a sure thing than to try FA and risk getting nobody decent.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DeadWingsv2</b></div><div>Detroit is not trading for a goalie.</div></div>
honestly, why not? They are gonna need someone to play with Ned for a few more years til Cossa is ready. Talbot is a pretty good goalie on a decent contract. He would probably be as good if not better as anyone they can get in free agency, and a 4th round pick is nothing. I say do it.

He should easily be living up to his contract...</div></div>
He played injured last year. Had hip surgery in the offseason. It seems like he lost a step because of it. Other than that, seems like a confidence thing. Seems like the writing is on the wall that the flames are gonna move on without him.

Trade Everything for this guy
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Terry_AkiSauce</b></div><div>Crazy how a guy can play 63 NHL games and be completely untouchable - I'd be willing to argue whether this package is enough but everyone in the league is available at the right price
In this trade you get your RW1 until Raymond surpasses him, a RD who is OBVIOUSLY worse but still a young guy that will play top 4 minutes, Knies, who people are calling one of the better prospects in the game, and on top of that another first round pick. Leafs get the better player without a doubt but the Red Wings get better</div></div>
honestly think its pretty understandable. If Seider joins the leafs, he would instantly be their best defenseman. He is only 20 years old and has 2 years remaining on his ELC. Compare that with any of the greats like McDavid, Draisaitl, Matthews, etc who are all have cap hits over 10 mil and haven't won anything. Then take a look at your offer: a decent offensive winger with defensive lapses, a mediocre defensive prospect with defensive lapses, another winger prospect (like we need more wingers) and a late first round pick. No man, Detroit is not interested in trading Seider to Toronto for anything they have.

I'd like to see Monny get a second chance with Detroit, but this trade is too shifted in Calgary's favour. A lot of people speculate that you would have to pay extra to move Monahan's contract. I personally still think he has value, but probably not more than a high second/low third at the best. Leddy with retention is probably also worth about a second. If you add in Suter, who has similar amount of points as Monahan with about half the cap hit, he has got be worth a bit more than Monahan. In reality it would probably look more like Monahan, a 2nd and a prospect for Leddy and Suter.

honestly, Staal has been underatedly good for Detroit. He is +9 on a team where the average defensive +/- is -9. I hope Detroit keeps him.

Wings Look Great Next Year
I doubt Rust will sign that. Don't know much about Maatta, but he also seems overpaid based on his stats. He's only averaging 18 min a night in LA so I doubt he's gonna be our go to guy at LD. I like Kadri but would probably want a bit less for his contract. I think Husso would be a good pick up though. Maybe a bit overpaid here. He's only had 2 seasons in the nhl and both as a backup.

Off Season 22
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Billy12Bob</b></div><div>Holl is a slot in replacement for Hronek who is +14 on the season, Hronek is -18 this season and was -18 last season and -38 the one before that.
Zadina has never scored 20 points in a season and is -24, Nylander has scored 52 points in 57 games this season.
Hronek is 2nd worst on the team in +/- among D (only Leddy is worse). Zadina is the worst of all forwards on the team.
This offer is a massive win for Detroit and would be so even if the 2nd round pick was going the other way.</div></div>
+/- isn't really a good metric for comparison since it depends a lot on team play. And when you have one team that is consistently at the top of the standings and another that is in the bottom, its kind obvious that the +/- is gonna favor the better team.
Hronek has carried defensive core of the red wings for the past few years. He was the top player in points for the entire team last year. He's maybe not the best defensively, but you have to factor in that a lot of that - rating comes while playing alongside DDK. Zadina on the other hand is still young and has a lot of upsides as a player. He would definitely benefit from playing alongside better offensive players like Tavares and the offensive numbers would come.
All in all, its not a bad trade for Detroit. While it doesn't address any of their major weaknesses, I still feel that Nylander can be a gamechanger for them offensively. I may try negotiating around some of the supplemental pieces - I don't have much love for Holl, but otherwise I think there is something there.
