Why? I know he's not getting any younger but he was basically a point per game player on a team desperate for point getters.

Hypothetical
Cossa is the last prospect I'd want to rush into the NHL, one more season in the AHL. ASP probably won't be ready but I could see Johansson being ready & movie Chairot to the right side.
The Stamkos deal takes him to 38 or 39 years old, he's a ppg player right now but it's rare for a player to be good into their late thirties. I'd love to have him don't get me wrong just maybe on a higher AAV less term contract. With your cap you have room for more AAV for less term. Some team will overpay for him but idk if it's the Wings.
I know you only got 5th or 6th round picks for moving the bad contracts but I think the Wings would have to pay to move them. Maybe not much but have to pay a 4th rounder at least for future considerations maybe a 3rd depending on the market.

Realistic I think WITH JUSTIFICATIONS I hate being a fan of this team
It's hard to compare Raymond with Seider because they play different positions but I'd say they are about even, both first liners. I want to lock them both up for 8 years. In years 6-8 of those contracts the salary cap will be higher and their cap hits will look like a good deal by then. If either one gets a bridge deal now, they are going to get PAID later.
I think those are pretty fair deals for Kane & Ghost if they want to stay. The AAV on Ghost is high but I'd rather have that on a 3 year deal instead of less money for more term since he's pushing 30.

Learn to read. I said he was regressing with age. People can still be effective as they get older look at Crosby or Ovy. I also gave you stats & facts. I'll give you another one since you don't understand. Perron is 8th on the team in ponts. Learn math & English apostrophes . You're acting like Perron screwed your wife.

I like Robby Fabbri, when healthy, who is making 4M next season, also about 0.5 ppg right now. Would you rather pay a guy 4M for 0.5 ppg or 2.5M for 0.5 ppg? Use some logic.

You'll be more mad when you find out what he's making this year. He's getting old & regressing a bit but he's a 0.55 point per game player this season. He's got grit to his game & was the one guy who got fed up that the Wings captain keeps getting targeted.
The crosscheck to the head of the wrong guy was stupid but at least he tried to stand up for the best player on the team. If the Wings don't give him 2.5 another team will.

Next year wno big changes
No thanks on Perry, Wings have enough old men "veteran presence" & he's pushing 40. I signed Berggren in my last ACGM as well but I hear that he doesn't want to sign with the Wings. Kane will probably want more $ than that and another team would be happy to pay it. I hope Seider and Raymond ask for less but with the salary cap going up argument you might be close.

Detroit would probably do that with an extension in place. Wings can't give up a 1st, 2nd, prospect that should be in the NHL, and a NHL 3rd/4th line center for a rental next year when they probably won't be cup contenders. I would appreciate a team taking Holl though.

Another year of pain
Probably have to pay a price to trade Holl away. I think this roster is kind of realistic for next season & that scares me. It's running it back with a worse team in my opinion. I think Edvinsson will help but losing Ghost and Sprong is a big deal.

I would do this today
Is Copp overpaid? Yes. but I personally don't think he's as bad as people make him out to be. I'd rather have him in the lineup over Luff & I know Kasper is a center but maybe put him on the wing to adjust to the NHL.
I know things haven't been working for the past 6 games but I feel like you have to keep Cat & Kane together for their chemistry. Imagine Edvinsson coming up to play some games and his partner is 36 year old... Jeff Petry. Yikes
I see where you are coming from though, something needs to change (Dylan Larkin back healthy).

I like your optimism but I don't think all of those rookies will make the team next year. I'm not a scout but I think Cossa could use at least one more year in Grand Rapids. IF somehow he makes the team next year I'd think a team would trade for Husso so the Wings could free up some cap space. I don't like giving the 1st round pick in the Boqvist trade.

Wings
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Canesfan21_</b></div><div>What’s the point of that MTL trade?</div></div>
Probably because Detroit needs RD and has a log jam on LD but I feel like Montreal would be sending a pick. I don't want Detroit to trade their 1st round pick especially not for that return.
I know Fabbri is known for being injured a lot but it's not his fault and this year he's played a good number of games and also is a half ppg player. His cap hit isn't a steal but it's not bad. Idk why people always want to trade him away except for clearing cap space. Those aren't good trades for Detroit. If anything I'd do a one for one. Arizona would be getting a better player that they have to pay more and Detroit gets a worse player that they have to play less.

Trimming the fat
I like a lot of what you did here. Some things might be a little unrealistic though. I could see Mo getting 9 therefore Raymond could get 500k more, I hope that's about what they get. I'm very interested to see what Kane ends up getting since he's at a ppg and to see if he wants to stay in Detroit.
I like the Markstrom trade but I think they'd want more quality over quantity like Husso plus a first with no Veleno or James.
I didn't know how you got under the cap with all of that then I saw Petry on LTIR and Chairot fired into the sun lol. I hate to say it but I'd rather have Petry, Maatta, or Chairot in the lineup over Holl even though Maatta is LD.
No thanks on Wennberg, yes please to Sunny. One thing that's unfortunate about this roster is losing Sprong but he'll probably get overpaid somewhere else. Just some opinions it's a tight cap situation for Wings next year. Nice creativity.

Wings
Unless Yzerman does cap gymnastics the Wings are going to lose 1-3 players that are great fits and fan favorites. I feel like Ghost is one, Sprong is another. If Razor, Veleno Seider take a little less and Sprong isn't back I'd pay Kane to stay.
I appreciate your optimism but I don't think both Kasper and Danielson will be ready next year. MAYBE one of them.
