The Round One Line Up
These seem pretty close. I think you nailed the D. I think Jarnkrok has played his way onto that top line. Bunting can always move there if you need a different look. You have to think that that second line won't have lafferty though. Seems like Kerfoot, Bunting, Jarnkrok, or ROR will get that spot. Outside chance for Knies to makes them changes plans

The bottom pair LD should be cheap in free agency. And Zub will take one of those top 4RD spots. So that leaves 1 position open.
The proposed return is the last type of package we need. Absolute futures would be the last thing the Sens are lookin for

Monahan Question Mark
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dannibalcorpse</b></div><div>I understand that he had a good 25 game start to the season, but the next 22+ games would be more important to me if I was a GM thinking about trading for him. He's had a long injury history before this year, and now he's missed nearly half of this year so far with another injury. He needs to come back healthy and show he can maintain that production for I would even think about paying a premium asset for him, even with the retention.</div></div>
There is no reports on what Monahan injured this year, the only thing that has been said was during Hughes mid-season presser. He said it was an unlucky injury, something that could have happened to anyone. Since we know it was a right foot injury as reported by Marc Antoine Godin and Hughes said it was an unlucky injury, my best guess is a broken foot (6 weeks recovery time also fits this as he was skating in a non-contact jersey today) or rolled ankle or something of that nature. Since acquiring teams have access to injury reports then they would know going in that it's not a recurring injury and nothing they had to worry about.

Monahan Question Mark
The picks themselves arent the as much of a problem the year is.
I dont see a scenario where Hughes gives up monahan without atleast a 2nd from this draft coming back. That gives them more flexibility for this draft which they need if theres a guy they want in the top 15.
The habs would be willig to give something back to get the 1st out of Toronto (it will be a late 1st so not o the same value as a team closer to the bubble.). If they obtain a mid-late 2nd elsewhere or their own 3rd which would be sitting around 70ish.

Leafs biggest test
That is a truck load for a rental, and I don't want to extend him. Not worth that cost for a somewhat one-dimensional forward. Doesn't fit the two way hockey culture of the forward group all that well. Obviously an upgrade and i'm nitpicking but going for someone who will be priced on the market as a rental and not as a sign and trade, like ROR who fits better anyways, makes way more sense.

Josh Anderson unloaded
What's the point of moving for Kulikov if you aren't playing him.
At that point, keep Timmins, keep the 3rd and scratch the guy making less.
As for Anderson..... love the guy, but not moving the kitchen sink to bail Montreal out of one of the worst contracts in the NHL. Pretty sure he is still a Hab because of that albatross. Hughes simply won't get market value right now, so better off waiting it out.

Well you know on CapFrienldy, Leafs can win three consecutive Cups, finish in the top three in GAA during those years, and folks would still say the Leafs Dmen are lousy.

Brodie is due back very soon, maybe he goes no left side since the Leafs seem OK on the right side with Holl, Lilgegren, and the Timmins, Holloway combo
