You're severely overvaluing Laf. If those are you expectations I would prepare to be disappointed.

I also doubt that Krueger will pair Borgen with Dahlin and give him so much time to play, this is a very adventurous defense, but in theory it can ultimately work.</div></div>
IMO Borgen compliments Dahlin's game very well. Dahlin also gets a ton of PP time, so its not like borgen will be playing 24 minutes a night.
Also didn't want borgen and samuelsson as a pairing with 4 total NHL games between them.

Groundbreaking stuff
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Smithcd995</b></div><div>Fair. I like Montour but don’t love him. I always tend to overpay on here because most people underpay for their respective teams. I just want a 3C that’s above average that can flip flop with our 2C depending on who’s hot. Plan for next year would be to have Cozens either play 3RW For Johansson preferably or one of those center spots as to not rush him.
Edit: I also try to evaluate my teams as a whole as opposed to any 1 single deal.</div></div>
Tierney is one of the biggest beneficiaries of getting overrated by his own fans, and somehow that translated to being overrated by everyone else on here, he simply is not that good
Also Lundell would be a really good pick at 8 and he is better than Holtz

I'm not sure. I would not say that I am a fan of Domi, but he seems to be a good player, can take 2C position, has chemistry with Reinhart, fits our core, at least I would consider this deal if Rossi and Raymond are no longer on the table.

I have serious concerns that they will take Sanderson, even if Lundell and Perfetti are on the table, so it’s not a bad option to trade for Domi so that they don’t take Sanderson. :)

Sergachev is by far the best player in this trade. I was thinking Jokihariju + 1st for him.
Olofsson (half retained) + 2nd for Cirelli.
You can't for players you sign.

gaudreau trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ledge_And_Dairy</b></div><div>?
Couture was 1C last year, Pavelski has played the last couple years on the wing similar to how Stamkos has moved to wing. The Sharks sucking had a lot more to do with Couture and Hertl being injured as well as Jones sucking than Couture being the 1C. As for Necas, Gaudreau put up 64 points in his rookie year at 21, if Necas does that next year then I'll believe you. if 1.3 years of Coleman is worth a 1st in this draft than Gaudreau is certainly worth a top 10 pick. Also this years draft is more comparable to 2015 than 2003</div></div>
Couture played 1C, but that doesn't make him a 1C. Jordan Staal played 1C in Carolina for years, that doesn't make him a 1C. Also, from what I can find, Meier played more as the 1C. Whether that was due to Couture's injury, I don't know. Gaudreau goes up and down, Necas at 20 years old just put up a 45 point pace season. Asking him to make a slight improvement in his second year to become a 60+ point producer with a real centre in Vinny Trocheck isn't a big ask. I wouldn't trade Necas for Gaudreau, oh plus Necas is a righty, which is really rare in Carolina. Coleman wasn't worth a 1st, They got one because they thought it was going to be 31st overall, which is effectively an early 2nd. With that in mind, I wouldn't give up a top 10 pick in the deepest draft since 03 for him. I'm not comparing this draft to 2003, because I'm not dumb, but this draft is deeper than 2015. The talent level his year stretches way further than the 2015 draft did

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Smithcd995</b></div><div>Fair enough. Is Gusev untouchable without an overpay for you guys?</div></div>
I would say close to it, he was our best forward most of last season and on pace for like 55 points playing on one of the worst coached, worst offensive teams in the league in his first year coming over from Russia. If we hire an NHL coach who puts him in the right spots I think he could be a point per game player if not close to it, he's also not that old so re-signing him to a multi year deal makes sense for us. For an extended Gusev I would be expecting a 1st and a legitimate A level prospect at the very least.

If Botts panics and trades our first for help now
Yeah I’d probably rather have Armia over MoJo and Asplund. Not because I don’t like MoJo, but because Armia brings size (which very few of our forwards have) and he’s also a right handed winger, and him and Gallagher are the only NHL right shooting wingers we have right now. The value is probably fair, but our lines get screwed up if we trade him for another left handed forward.
Although Buffalo might need to add a bit to Domi for the first, depending on which number it is and who is available.
